A nice little kit of a small French Renault R35 light tank converted into an armoured recovery vehicle. In the early stages of WWII the Renault R35 was the most numerous of French tanks. Following the fall of France in 1940, 843 of these French tanks were pressed into service by the occupying German army for security duties as well as being supplied to their Axis partners such as Italy and Bulgaria. This kit depicts an R35 with the turret removed and used as an armoured recovery vehicle.
