20mm Flakveirling 38

The Flak38 was a German Light Anti Aircraft gun mounting a 20mm gun. The Flak38 was developed from the earlier 20mm Flak30 which had only fired at around 120rpm. While the Flak38 was capable of 220rpm it was still insufficient to deal with the increasing speeds of low level fighter bombers and attack aircraft. The weapon mounted 4 20mm Flak38 guns on a triangular base with fold away seats. The guns fired the diagonally oposite weapons to maintain balance and was operated by two foot pedals.
