M26(T26E3) Pershing Tank

The M26 Pershing tank was introduced in February 1945 after the US had concentrated its efforts on the production of the M4 Sherman. Pershings saw limited service but were known to have destroyed German heavy tanks in the closing stages of WWII. The M26 also served in Korea where it and its derivative, the M46, were credited with half of the T-34 kills claimed by the US Armoured Corps. The M26(T26E3) was armed with the M3 90mm gun with a double baffle muzzle brake.
