Opel Blitz Bus

The Opel Blitz Bus was produced during the 1930s at the Ludewig plant in Essen based on the Opel Blitz 3 ton truck chassis. With its futuristic look for the 1930s they were used extensively in German propaganda to demonstrate how advanced their motor industry was for the time. They were also used during the 1936 Olympics to ferry round foreign guests. Later on the Luftwaffe used them as crew transports.
