Pz Kpfw II (3,7cm)

The second of the Panzers, the Pz Kpfw II was designed in the early 1930s. By 1940 the 2cm KwK30 and 2cm KwK38 guns were considered ineffective against Allied armour. This resulted in the Germans experimenting with fitting the French 37mm SA38 gun to the Pz Kpfw II. The resulting tank was never developed further and Pz Kpfw II remained armed with a 20mm cannon until chassis were coverted as SPG and the Lynx appeared. This kit represents one of Germany's experimental designs.
