Pz Kpfw 38(t)

The Czech LT-38 was one of the most successful products of the pre-war Czech armaments industry. When the Germans took over in 1939 the Germans redesignated the vehicle Panzer 38(t). By 1941, having been initially issued to the 7th and 8th Panzer Divisions, the Pz Kpfw 38(t) represented nearly 25% of the total Wehrmacht tank strength. Mounting a Skoda 37mm A7 gun and a 7.92mm MG, the Panzer 38(t) was taken out of frontline service in 1942 by which time 1,168 had been produced.
