BMP-2 Infantry Fighting Vehicle

The BMP-2 is a second generation amphibious tracked infantry fighting vehicle introduced in the 1980s and based on the BMP-1. The design combines features of an APC with that of a light tank allowing infantry to operate from the relative safety of the BMP's protected interior increasing infantry mobility and firepower. The BMP-2 was designed to increase the armament and protection. The BMP-2 is armed with a 30mm automantic cannon 2A42 and 9M113 Konkurs Anti Tank Guided Missiles.
