GAZ-MM Model 1941 Soviet Truck

Based on the Ford AA, the first GAZ AA were produced in 1932 at the Gorky Automotive Plant. Given the nickname 'Polutorka' for its 1.5 tonne cargo capacity, the GAZ AA was produced in large numbers and saw wide service during WWII. The GAZ-MM was a simplified design with a more powerful 50hp engine. Simplifications included removal of doors, front brakes, front bumper, stamped mudguards replaced by welded ones and removal of one headlight. In 1942, doors were replace with wooden one.
