A superb quick build kit of the Russian BRDM-2 Armoured Scout Car which includes two vehicles in the box. The BRDM-2 was introduced in 1962 and replaced the earlier BRDM-1. Also known as the BTR-40PB it was amphibious unlike the BRDM-1. Another upgraded feature was the BPU-1 turret mounting a 14.5mm KPVT heavy machine gun and a coaxial 7.62mm PKT machine gun. Like the BRDM-1 it also features two pairs of chain driven belly wheels which can be lowered by the driver and allow trench crossing.
