Cullin Hedgerow Cutter (3)

Credited with saving thousands of lives, this simple construction of metal teeth was welded to the front of Sherman tanks allowing the vehicle to take out a few tons of hedgerow in the Normandy bocage rather than risk rising up and exposing the lightly armoured underbelly of the tank. This contraption allowed the Shermans to break through hedgerows at various places at the same time without the need for Bulldozer tanks or TNT. Metal cast accessories.
