A superb example of the E-50 designed as a standard medium tank to replace the Panther and Tiger I but never quite entered service. The E-50 design was longer then the Panther and almost identical to the King Tiger with the suspension using a conical spring system instead of the more traditional torison bar design. The design also incorporated the Panther Ausf F's narrow mantlet "Schmalturm" turret layout mounting an 88mm L/71 gun. The weight of the E-50 was between 50 and 75 tonnes.
