The Schwerer Wehrmachtschlepper (or sWS) was a German Cargo half track used for towing large artillery pieces with room for the crew in the back. The sWS was originally designed to replace the earlier Sd Kfz 7 and Sd Kdz 11. The sWS was also used as a platform for the 37mm Flak43 which was placed on a turret with a gun shield on the rear of the half track. It was also used to mount the 15cm Nebelwerfer 42, 10 barreled rocket launcher by mounting this on top of a rear armoured compartment.
