British 8th Armoured Brigade

The 8th Armoured Brigade was formed in 1941 and fought in The Western Desert campaign at El Alamein and into Tunisia before returning to the UK in late 1943. The 8th fought at D-Day on Gold Beach using Sherman DD tanks and throughout the Battle of Normandy before the Seine crossing, the subsequent Market Garden operation and into Germany. Decal sheet includes 77 British 8th Armoured Brigade signs of a red fox's head on a yellow square. Symbols measure approx 3mm high.
