The first M4 Sherman featured the M3 chassis, engine, suspension and transmission with a newly designed hull and a central turret mounting the 75mm gun. The initial design retained the cupola machine gun of the M3. An initial wooden mock up of the vehicle was produced in May 1941, designated T6 Medium Tank. A pilot vehicle was produced in September 1941 without the cupola machine gun. Resin cast kit with metal parts. The sale is for a new, unpainted, unbuilt kit.
