T-60 (ZIS-19) Light Tank

The T-60 was produced between 1941 and 1942 as a light scout tank to replace the largely obsolete T-38. Initially designed to mount a 12.7mm machine gun, the main gun was later upgraded to the 20mm TNSh cannon. In 1942 the T-60 was redesigned with the 37mm ZIS-19 gun although this was abandonded in favour of a 45mm gun due to shortages of 37mm ammunition. Further re-design led to the mounting of the 45mm tank gun in a modified turret. T-60 remained in service until 1945.
