Utilising the Pz Kpfw 38(t) chassis, this prototype attempted to fit the Panther's 75mm KwK42 L/70 gun with the reliable Czech chassis to up-arm the Hetzer tank destroyer. However, the long gun and extra weight caused significant problems in driving the vehicle. In a design revision, Krupp proposed the superstructure be moved to the rear of the vehicle to better distribute the weight which had risen to 18 tons. Ultimately, this design never progressed beyond the drawing board.
