Marmon Herrington Mk II with Pak36

Developed by the South African army prior to WWII, the Marmon Herrington was based on a Ford 3 ton truck chassis. It was produced in a number of variants with the MkII onwards being four wheel drive. The Mk II was used extensively in North Africa being avaiable in large numbers. It was reliable although both lightly armed and armoured. As Axis equipment was captured many were converted to mount larger cannons such as the 20mm Breda 35, 3.7cm Pak36 and 2.8cm sPzB41 anti tank guns.
