Ju-87G-2 Stuka 'Kanonen Vogel'

The Junkers Ju-87 Stuka was a German Ground attack aircraft of WWII. Deriving the name Stuka from Sturzkampfflugzeug , or dive bomber, the Stuka was famed as much for its propaganda effect as for its combat abilities. Entering service in 1936 during the Spanish Civil War the Stuka made its name during the Blitzkrieg campaigns of 1939 and 1940. With its distinctive gull wing design, fixed undercarriage and fearsome wailing siren, the Stuka gave close support to the advancing Panzer Divisions.
