Martin B-26C Marauder

The B-26 was an American twin engine medium bomber of WWII. The B-26 was introduced in 1940 and saw service in the pacific as well as the Mediteranean and Western European theatres. The B-26 was known as the Widowmaker amongst other colourful names as a result of it's early accident record. These issues were eventually dispelled by experienced pilots and the later B-26 went on to have the lowest loss record if any aircraft in WWII.
