The 75mm gun made the M40 a useful vehicle in tank versus tank action, however when units were sent to the Eastern Front, the M40 was outclassed by the Russian T-34s and KV-1s. The M40, however, did prove more useful against light British tanks in North Africa where it was still being used in early 1943. A number of vehicles continued in service with the Germans during the Italian campaign of 1943-1945. Includes 2 fast assembly kits with 14 parts each.
