Bedford OYD 3ton Truck

The Bedford OYD was a 6x2 Gereral Service Truck produced by the British during WWII. Based on the design of the US GMC 2.5ton "Deuce and a Half", the British used the design to speed up production. The OY design was used for a number of variants including mobile canteens, fuel tankers, mobile xray vehicles for causualties as well as a range of more general service duties. Over 72,300 were prodcued during WWII some of which were also supplied to the Soviet Union.
