Opel Blitz Bus Ludewig

The Opel Blitz Bus was produced during the 1930s at the Ludewig plant in Essen based on the Opel Blitz 3 ton truck chassis. With its elegant lines it was used as an express bus for passengers between cities as well as for German propaganda to demonstrate how advanced their motor industry was for the time. At least one was pressed into service on the Eastern Front during WWII as a transport for Wehrmacht officers.
