A re-release of a classic 1972 Airfix kit to coincide with the 70th Anniversary of D-Day. The D-Day Coastal Defence kit is a generic emplacement not un-typical of those found along Hitler's Atlantic Wall which stretched from the border of Spain and France as far as Norway. The heaviest emplacements and gun batteries were sited where the Allies were most likely to attack with greater concentrations around the Pas De Calais.
