L3 Lf Flamethrower Tank (2 kits per box)

The L3/33 was an Italian Light Tank used during WWII. The designation indicated L for Light Tank, 3 for the weight in tons and 33 as the year it entered service. The Carro Veloce L3/33, sometimes known as the CV-33, was armed with a 6.5mm machine gun. The Flamethrower variant, L3 Lf, "Lancia fiamme" (flamethrower) was designed in 1935 and had the machine gun replaced with a flamethrower nozzle. Fuel for the flamethrower was carried in an armoured towed trailer capable of holding 500 litres.
