Staghound AA (T17E2)

The T17E1 Staghound was a large, heavy armoured car designed by the US. It entered service in 1943 in Italy and the Mk I was armed with a 37mm gun and crewed by 5. The T17E2 Staghound was a T17E1 with an open top turret mounting two 50cal Browning M2 machine guns. The turrets had an electric-hydraulic traverse and were designed originally to be fitted to British Motor Torpedo Boats. The T17E2 carried 2,610 round and a smaller crew of 3 - commander/gunner, loader and driver.
