25 Pounder Field Gun (x2)

Contains 2 Guns. The Ordnance QF 25-pounder or more commonly the 25 pounder was a British field gun and howitzer using throughout WWII. It was introduced in 1940 to replace the 18 pounder and remained in service into the 1960s. The 25 pounder combined both high angle and direct fire along with a rapid rate of fire (up to 8 rpm) and a reasonably lethal shell. It was normally crewed by 6 men although a reduced detatchment was 4 men.
