Armoured Railcar Carrier (DTR)

The Armoured Railcar Carrier (DTR) was designed in 1934 and provided to Russian armoured train units as a reconnaissance car as well as a transport for wounded soldiers and supplies. The DTR mounted a hexagonal turret with a 7.62mm Maxim machine gun mounted in it. In addition to this, six 7.62mm DT machine guns were mounted in the hull. It was crewed by 11 people. Ten DTR cars were produced between 1935 and 1941.
