Fordson was originally a tractor manufacturer and was wholly owned by members of Henry Ford's family (Ford & Son). The WOT.2 was based on the civilian Model 61 chassis and the H was the last variant with half steel doors. There were two basic variants, the General Service as depicted here and a closed van. In service there were also house bodied variants as communication, radio and fire service vehicles. Some were also converted to light anti aircraft trucks by mounting a 20mm Polsten or Hispano
