A neat kit of the German Mercedes Benz L4500A used by the Germans on all fronts during WWII. The 4500 refers to the 4,500kg. The truck was originally designed for civilian use but was widely in service with the German Army in WWII. The Einheits-Fahrerhaus kit depicts the wooden cab and the Stahl-Fahrerhaus depicts the steel cab version shown here. This version has been converted to run on railway tracks and the kit includes a resin rail track base.
