Type 89 I-Go "Kō" Late Medium Tank

The Type 89 I-Go Medium tank was a Japanese design used between 1932 and 1942. The Type 89B was the world's first mass produced diesel engine tank. The main armament was a short barrel low velocity Type 90 57mm gun. The Type 89 had a crew of 4, commander/gunner, loader, driver and hull machine gunner. There were two I-Go variants - the Kō ("A") which had a water-cooled petrol engine and the Otsu ("B") which had an air-cooled diesel engine.
