SAM-6 AA Missile System (2K12 "Kub")

The 2K12 "Kub" (NATO designation : SA-6 "Gainful") is a mobile surface-to-air missile system designed to protect ground forces from air strikes. A battery of 2K12 normally includes four 2K12 vehicles and four supply trucks, each carrying three spare missiles and a crane. One of the 2K12 is equipped with a 1S91 radar system. The 2K12 was introduced in 1970 and is still in service today. The main armament is three 9M336 guided missiles.
