Type 94 TK Japanese Tankette With Trailers

The Type 94 TK was a Japanese tankette designed for reconnaissance. It was crewed by two men and armed with a 6.5mm Type 91 MG. However, it was thinly armoured (8-12mm) and as a result could be penetrated by 0.5cal fire. It entered service in 1935. In addition to reconnaissance, it was also used as a light tractor for pulling ammunition trailers providing support for infantry units. The kit includes two separate trailer designs, an open cargo trailer as shown and an armoured covered trailer.
