Sd Kfz 265 Panzerbefehlswagen I Ausf B

The Pz Kpfw I Command Tank, known as the Sd Kfz 265 Panzerbefehlswagen, was the first purpose design command tank used by the Germans and based on the Pz Kpfw I Ausf B chassis. The rotating turret was replaced by a boxed superstructure giving more space inside for the FuG6 radio in addition to the standard FuG2 radio and equipment. The Sd Kfz 265 was armed with a ball mounted MG13 or MG34 although space for its use was limited.
