S-125M "Newa-SC" Missile System on T-55 Chassis

The S-125 Neva (NATO : SA-3 "Goa") is a Russian surface-to-air missile system designed to complement the earlier S-25 and S-75. It uses radio command guidance and is powered by solid fuel rocket motors reaching Mach 3 to 3.5 in flight. The Neva-SC was a Polish upgrade in 2001. The WZT -1 is a Polish armoured recovery vehicle based on the T-55/T-55A hull introduced in the 1950s. As recovery vehicles they have been phased out but are still in use as mobile platforms for the S-125M.
