The Panhard AML is a fast, light, long range French armoured car designed for reconnaissance. It only weighs around 5.5 tonnes making it suitable for airborne use. The AML-90 was designed to substitute for tanks and is armed with a DERA D921 low pressure 90mm rifled gun and a coaxial 7.62mm machine gun. The AML has seen service with over 50 countries worldwide.
