Panhard VBL Light Armoured Car

The Panhard VBL (Véhicule Blindé Léger or "Light armoured vehicle") is a light, all terrain 4x4 armoured car bringing together the agility of the Peugeot P4 with better protection for the crew. It was produced between 1985 and 2010 as a Scout car and could be armed with a 7.62mm AN-F1 machine gun for reconnaissance (as depicted here) or with a Milan anti tank missile. It is powered by the Peugeot XD3T turbo-diesel engine used in the civilian Peugeot 505 and 605 models.
