RBT-5 Rocket Tank
Production of the BT-5 started at end of 1932. About 50 fought in the Spanish Civil War on the Republican side with some also seeing action against the Japanese at Chalchin-Gol in July 1939, occupation of the western areas of White Russia & Ukraine in September 1939, Winter War of 1939-1940 against Finland, and in 1941 against the Germans. This RBT-5 variant has two 420mm rocket propelled tank torpedoes (250kg) mounted on either side of the turret. The torpedoes had an effective range of 1.5km
