T-26 with A-43 Turret Artillery Tank

The T-26 light tank was the Soviet version of the Vickers 6-ton tank. The final model T-26 had a 45 mm gun and a 7.62mm MG although there were many other conversions.

This T-26 prototype was modified in 1932-33 by fitting an all -welded A-43 turret mounting a 76.2mm main gun and a 7.62mm machine gun. While this variant was not put into production it provided the basis for the first artillery tank, the T-26-4, which featured a larger turret and was fitted with a KT cannon
