Bedford OXD Truck

The 30cwt Bedford OXD was a short wheelbase version of the Bedford OYD 6x2 General Service Truck produced by the British during WWII. Based on the design of the US GMC 2.5ton "Deuce and a Half", the British used the design to speed up production. Like the Bedford OY, there were OX variants including the OXC designed with Scammell to be used with a semi-trailer and the OXA which was an armoured variant used for home defence.
