AMR35 ZT3 Light Tank
The Renault AMR35 Type ZT was developed as a light tank to support infantry units.It was armed with a 7.5mm Reibel machine gun and later a 13.2mm Hotchkiss machine gun. Subsequent variants were developed as anti tank versions.
The AMR35 ZT3 was a tank destroyer variant of the AMR35 armed with the 25mm SARF gun, which could penetrate 40mm of armour at 500m, mounted in a casemate attached to the hull superstructure. While the superstucture was raised to house the gun the interior was cramped.
