Leopard 2A6EX Main Battle Tank
The Leopard 2 was developed by Germany in the early 1970s. It was armed with a 120mm Rheinmetall L/44 smoothbore gun which was later replaced with the L/55 and two 7.62mm MG3A1 machine guns. The A6 featured the Rheinmetall 120mm L/55 smoothbore gun.
Leopard 2A6EX is an export version of the 2A6 fitted with the full add-on armour kit, hydraulic track tensioners, air conditioning, the MT883 engine with Renk HSWL-295TM transmission and engine muffler.
