Centurion Mk 5/1 Main Battle Tank
The Centurion was based on an extended Comet chassis with the 5 road wheels increased to 6. Originally armed with the 17 Pounder, later variants were upgunned to the 105mm L7 rifled gun. This Mk.5 was armed with a 20 Pounder.
The Centurion served in Korea, the Suez Crisis, the Six Day War, Yom Kippur War, Vietnam and all the way up to the first Gulf War (as an AVRE).
