Dodge WC18 ½ ton 4x4 Ambulance
The Dodge WC series was a range of ½ ton and ¾ ton light 4 wheel drive trucks supplied to the US Army during WWII.
The ½ ton WC vehicles were mostly produced between 1940 and 1942 before they were redesigned as ¾ ton to carry heavier loads from 1942 onwards. Over 77,700 ½ ton 4x4 Dodge WC trucks were built.
The Dodge WC18 was an ambulance version which featured a fully enclosed all steel rear body with a longer 123 inch wheelbase.
